SEF Declaration (Entry Report in Portugal)
Foreign citizens must report their entry into Portugal from another EU country to SEF (Portugal Immigration) within three days of arrival if entering through a border not subject to control.
No further reporting is required for:
- Third-country nationals who entered through a controlled border.
- Foreign citizens with a residency or visa to stay in Portugal for over 6 months.
- Foreign citizens staying in hotels or other accommodations that provide SEF with accommodation forms. We provide support and assistance with communication of your entry to the Portuguese authorities through our service.
